thanks!
thanks! we cooperate with tzardoms too :P
hi @piul,
we will try to add new animations already implemented in other mods. However, we are in 2 persons, both with a busy working life - we have tried to create new animations, but with no success until now.
thanks. I cannot foresee when it will be completed, but we will continue to work on it.
ciao!
quando il mod sarà pronto verrà reso disponibile come file .zip - immagino che possa essere aperto anche da mac. La cartella potrà essere poi messa in /mods e il mod potrà essere lanciato normalmente.
hello @pizzaman6, this mod will focus only on the Italian peninsula.
hi @Joeriig,
units affiliated to certain factions will often have similar colour codes - this however will reflect as much as possible historical hints. For this swiss units, we have just followed several chroniclers of the time, in which is very clear which unit pertains to which canton based on factional colouring and items/standards they carry.
Tastekin yes, all of them will be playable.
unfortunately not. It is just me and i have really few time spared from work.
made by us, like the shirts :)
@kuroiwa-san, in order:
1- Piombino will be an independent state (held by rebels);
2- Ancona will be under Francesco Sforza in 1441, but will revolt in 1443;
3- There will be a single swiss state (the Confederacy) but with canton recruitable troops. To be in the limits, only 5 variations will be available, for the following cantons, based on colour variations Uri (yellow/black); Bern/Glarus (red/black); Schwytz/Unterwalden (white/red); Lucerne/Zug/ Zürich (white/azure) and generic swiss (Basel/Fribourg/Appenzell in white/black)
4- Boccanegra is a surname available for the genoese faction, although there will be no member of that family, as the last known members of the family died in 1477, and since 1401 no one of them had any political relevance whatsoever (source: Soprintendenza archivistica per la Liguria, Archivi.beniculturali.it )
Joeriig thanks!
indeed late medieval/early renaissance units, items and history is often neglected, as it is quite messy and hard to follow, especially in a place of shifting alliances like Italy...
@kuroiwa-san, there is Piombino, but we will not have an independent piombinese state, because of M2TW engine limitations.
However, there is already in place a chain of events for the succession war of the Orsini in the 1440s and the 1447 war with Naples and Florence.
@Guest, yes I have considered that - but unfortunately M2TW does not allow a large number of factions.
There will be Swiss and German mercenaries, but maybe not landsknechts - indeed, those are of a slightly later timeframe.

Good question! We will have the following factions:
- Most Serene Republic of Venice;
- Duchy of Milan;
- Duchy of Savoy (it will be a mixed franco-italian faction);
- Marquisate of Saluzzo;
- Marquisate of Montferrat;
- Republic of Genoa;
- Marquisate of Malaspina;
- Marquisate of Mantua;
- Duchy of Modena and Ferrara;
- Lordship of Bologna;
- Lordship of Rimini;
- Republic of Lucca;
- Republic of Florence;
- Republic of Siena;
- Duchy of Urbino;
- Papal States;
- Republic of Ragusa;
- Kingdom of Naples (Anjou);
- Kingdom of Naples (Aragon);
- Dominions of Francesco Sforza;
Well, this is not an AOE III mod, so it will still have a folder to be unzipped in the /mods directory of M2TW.
I am afraid I can't create an installer, as the .exe could be recognised by antiviruses as "suspicious".
wonderful details! amazing! speechless!
Cshelton I had a very busy time at work - will try to finish working on the Austrian cavalry units, and then prepare other previews. Possibly will do a preview in this weekend for austrian officers and standardbearers.
hi rafasanchez0206, i do not think it will be possible to implement this in Warband. Who knows, maybe it could be used in Bannerlord when it will come out...
wonderful horse barding!
thank you! - it will have a completely different style and outline, a new map and so on.

Of course, Hungary will be part of it; and it will feature the civil war between the party of Wladislaw III Jagiello and the Habsburg-backed Ladislaus the posthumous, the all-powerful Jon Hunyadi and his son Mathias.
Hungarians will have access to a very diverse roster of units from the Balkans, ranging from Vlachs to Poles, from Szekely to Serbians, from Czechs to Croatians - and obviously they will have the Black Army in a later stage.
ivanhoe95 i'm seriously rolling on the floor laughing!
btw, I used a blue dress as in some manuscripts Austrian ducal troops are portrayed with blue, red and green mises.
