Red banner Gongchen tanks have been deployed to the field. They may not have the best guns or armor but have great historical value. Use them to boost the morale of your units.
Gongchen tank was the first tank that PLA had. It's actually a Japanese Type 97 Chi-Ha, which was captured by the PLA after WW2 ended.
Due to its historical value, Gongchen acts as a super propaganda unit. Here's a tl;dr of what it can do:
- Has permanent horde bonus
- Has speaker tower bonus
- Any units around Gongchen also gets horde bonus (be it 1 unit or 4 units)
- Ability to use a small AoE frenzy (individual cooldowns)
- Fast rate of fire and movement, has Tank armor.
- Whenever a Gongchen dies, it boosts the damage of nearby allies (it just triggers a Rank 3 Frenzy but has a lot larger AoE.)
I love It!

This super-OP description reminds me of Chaos mod for Shockwave. %)
