Thank you very much!!
No, this behavior was unique to the N64 and I don't think I could replicate it on PC.
We're doing our best and we won't give up!
Thank you! Yannick is doing an outstanding job and he will appreciate this comment a lot!
Sorry, we legally cannot include the original music in the game.
Don't expect new levels. Just remaking the original 20 is a HUGE job for just 2 people.
It's too early, but since this is an Unreal Engine game I would imagine the minimum requirements are similar to Fortnite. I would recommend a video card with 2048 MB of memory or more. An Intel Core i3 CPU or above should be sufficient. At the moment the game uses less than 1 GB of RAM but that will probably increase as more features and more advanced AI is added.
Hopefully not too hard! If it does become a problem though we can come up with ways to remedy that.
1) Yes, we're planning something like that. The details are still to be worked out.
2) Yes, there will be 007 Mode in which you can set enemy stats to max.
3) Various people. We don't want them to look exactly like the original actors lest those actors get made at us.
4) Yes, there most likely will be a testing phase. At least a few members of the community will be invited to join.
Thank you! I'm not sure when the next gameplay video will be because I'm in the process of recording new animations with a motion capture suit and it takes a really long time to clean up each new animation.
For most levels the layout is very similar to the original game. A few levels such as Depot and Frigate may have altered and expanded layouts.
No problem!

Hello, Nojh!
Yes, we do intend to retain all stealth aspects of the original game. That means you'll be able to approach Bunker 2 in the way you described. GoldenEye 25 guards already have the ability to hear gunshots and we're trying to make the sensitivity of their hearing about the same as the guards of the original game.
Thank you very much for your kind words!
No mod support. I'd like to but UE4 doesn't support it out of the box and implementing it is beyond my skill level. No LAN because this is single player only. I suppose I could add a cheat to do back flips. It would be very weird, but I could lol. Thanks for thanking us!
We are not allowed to release on Steam.
The target release is in August 2022. I don't know the absolute minimum requirements. Any mid-range 2019 gaming PC should be able to run it.
I do have a Patreon if people would like to support me personally:

And our composer, Yannick Zenhäusern, sells music online if you'd like to support him.
I might consider that if all I cared about was remaking GoldenEye, but to me this project is also a learning experience. I like to get feedback from the public so I can improve my work and that can't happen if the game is made in secret. Personally I think it's rather unlikely this project will be shut down considering no other Bond game fan project has ever been shut down.
Yeah, it only appeared in Frigate and it wasn't in multiplayer at all.
It's always possible. Some of them have already agreed to help test GE25!
No. They'd probably put on a bunch of dumb restrictions like they did with the other more recent Bond games. Like we'd have to use Daniel Craig as the Bond model and we couldn't show Bond dying.
Good ideas! Yannick often tracks down the sound effects used in the original game or movie and purchases them for use in GE25. There are ricochet sounds in the game already, but maybe I need to turn up their volume. Hmmmm your comment about the BDA gives me an idea! ;)
Maybe blocky characters could be a cheat code :)
