I don't typically dabble in games that reflect RPG's of old (Fallout for example) but coming into this blind, I was able to understand the world around me easily enough, and actaully enjoyed contending with the harshness of it. Whether I was just barely making it to the next room while being chased by a pack of rats, or just flipping on light switches so I could see, I have to say I enjoyed just about every second of it. And in time, I even grew a fondness for my charachter, hell, I found myself role playing at one point! Of course, this game being unfinished; There's plenty of things that need working on and many things not yet implemented. But upon completion, I have no doubt this game will be up there with some of the best games that came out of it's completion year.
