Definitely looks cool. I don't know how disorienting it would get after a while though haha. Looking forward to more.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I have not quit. In fact, quite the contrary. Since the post I have been enrolled in post secondary education studying Video Game Design. So don't worry, the idea is very much alive, and very much being worked on. Thanks for the support, and I hope to bring the experience to you sooner than later. -Rob
Love. You are my hero Wills.
Waiting for auth. But still, thank god! I LOVE YOU GUYS! Good job :)
Just wanted to say your "Organic Indie Pre-Order Pack" commercial was epic. So epic in fact, that I pre-ordered. Cause you guys rock. Good job! :D
Those look great. Thanks for the heads up!
The 3D Buzz tutorials were invaluable while learning UE3, so I'm sure to expect nothing less with their UDK tutorials. I highly recommend these for any new unreal users!
Nope. They've been waiting.. and waiting... and waiting... to release 0.6 so no one plays anymore. As a note, they did lose all their code and start from scratch though, so you have to give them SOME credit. But it's still been more than 6 months since a release.
Technically the best one is DX11, but that's only Win7 >_>
Then download the map first >_<
How much modification to the lighting engine did this take? Because man your lighting is gorgeous. Great work!
I have to agree with you.
However I will give it a shot. Seems like an FPS version of the same game. Could be good.
I hate to support the WoWers here, but if you look at the bottom screenshot in the post above, and compare, here's what you get.
The balcony looks almost exactly from Ironforge, and the border as well. See here:

Also, the enemy is clearly a mechanostrider with a gun turret:

The game has been looking good though. The modding scene will make it that much more enjoyable. Good luck.
Or how about a job from a studio? lol.
More than deserved from what I've seen.
Licensing issues anyone? I'm just saying. How long will it take some moron to try and upload music that is not their own... I say the first day =/
On the c17_city_day_02b0044.1.jpg screenshot, how did you do that lighting? It's gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. Congrats on great work guys.
Very cool, too bad my screen isn't tiny like that :S
Very nice city scene. Does the engine have any hitching issues with the large space? I didn't see how big the whole city area is, but it looks like it could be potentially quite large.
Congrats to the UW team, and all that they have accomplished. NS was one of the best shooters of all time, and NS2 will hopefully be no exception. My pre-order is in, and I can't wait to finally play :D
Do you realize that is all in-game footage, right?
You are correct. They have stated that all those are in-game, not just renders.
No. The maps follow a pretty straight forward concept to progression. There are multiple paths you can take, and that's part of the charm with the time trials. However, in the basic sense of the word, no, it is not open ended.
Good work. The mod was fun, the puzzles were entertaining. Only 2 issues I saw were the lag issues, and that last encounter was excessively hard for what it was. Other than that, it was good. Your mapping skills are exceptional.
Great idea! Please keep them up! I just found out about a new game, Project 25 from this. Exposure should be a big plus. Thanks.
Not only that, but if the classes get a rebalance, and we add a little more variety to the game, it may catch on! Good luck guys.
Sorry to have to agree, but all your models are ripped from FPS banana, and your maps are unfortunately not even Half-Life 1 material. I hope it all works out for you, but definitely work on getting a good mapper, and modeler. Best of luck in your quest.
Map looks decent, sounds like you have a good idea that you want to get out there, only thing I warn of is getting too ahead of yourself. Definitely put the time into it to work out all the kinks and issues to make it great. Good luck with your mod!
This looks AMAZING! On another note, what was the song in the video? It was quite impressive as well.
Once the new character models are released, I think it will deserve it. We definately need better models ;)

What to say... I'm one of those there Level Designers. I've been working in Hammer for about 5 years now. It's come a long way from the "Hmm, let's give them a half-competent level editor" it started out as in the days of Half-Life. I enjoy Mapping in source, and photoshop is my second love. Pretty standard stuff. If you're still reading this, you're a real trooper. Have a cookie!
