The plan is to rebuild the entire halo plotline so,yes,there will be forerunners and floods with events reflect the halo story.Forerunner may be a fallen empire or just some anomalies to be research,and flood should be similar to one of the existing crisis
Now only unsc ship faction can use the ship,it is the same for covenant.Will be improved later.

ps;I looked into the link you provided.It turns out that a lot of covenant ships share similar apperances but are different in sizes.So I just rescaled and re-textured these models.

Well,I managed to complete the CCS and CAS class on time.As far as I remember,they are the only covenant military ship appeared in the game capable of interstellar combat?Do you have any information about covenant fleet system?

Well,I'm recently busy doing my work as a concept artist for a game project so I have little time for this.But I still managed to complete some models.I would probably finish it by the end of the month.
I have it.But it was made for a x3 mod so there are too many details which could affect the fraps.I will adjust it.
You should notice that the halo and other stuff are posted after the latest update.I don't want to upload everytime I done something.The next version will be out when all the covenant ship (or at least some of them) are completed and It may will take some time.If you need the halo ring mesh and the galaxy script right now for development,I'll upload then.
Also you should create a *.asset file somewhere in the gfx folder and add a entity called 'unscfighter_entity'.
Here's how it works.
When you create a new ship_size,say unscinfinity.It should have a entity which refers to a mesh file.This file usually contains nothing but several locator called 'part1' 'part2' etc.And the game will load each ship_section at the position of the corresponding locator.For example,the entity of battleship has 3 locator represent the 3 different parts of the ship.
As this file is very simple,there's no need to export one especially from maya.Just create a entity that refers to a existing mesh will do,which is exactly what I did.
R u sure there is in fact a ship inside that box?Since the defult mesh the game loads for a ship when unable to find a corresponding asset will be several colored boxes.
When you create a new ship_size,an corresponding entity must be created.In my case,I just copy the code of battleship for Infinity and modified some values.
Do you have models for all these class?If extra modeling are required,tell me i.e the long sword fighter

Actually I have scripted a galaxy with all known UNSC colonies.However,as there are more then 10,It will significantly affect the balance.Do you have any idea how to deal with these colonies?

ps:I think you can start to work on the solar system initializer and figure out a way to generate a galaxy which resemble the one of HALO i.e the halo rings,the ark,human colonies
Well,It depends.I plan to work on art rescoures first and then move on to coding.So far nothing has been decided yet
How did you manage to created the exact map you want?As I'm working on a Halo mod,I wonder if it is possible to create a customized map which will be automatically enabled if the player choose a particular empire.

I have no idea what you're talking about.Anyway I did canceled that mod but it was in fact a stargate mod with some ships from other works like the ones in HALO.The page has been deleted but you can still see a picture of Atlantis in X3 at my homepage header.
