Here's the git project set up for the joint development.
I will upload the models as well as some of the codes once I finished one.
You can modify or create new files in the folder 'coding'
When all the work is finished,we will push out a release.
In this way you don't have to wait until I finish all the modeling to start.
ps;I looked into the link you provided.It turns out that a lot of covenant ships share similar apperances but are different in sizes.So I just rescaled and re-textured these models.

just emailed you - should be lukebishop@uwclub.NET ect-- - yeah most of the pre-set up's are there, -- just needs you to add your custom ship entiety- and rename to proper ship names- / test the new ship sises. and make custom xml ect- so they properly work.
lots of gpx parts/ names have a good rummage through- its what I could fine in preparation for your model relece.
Would say some of the portraits suck- so might wana use diferent ones for that- but some stuffs alright

I would say avoid forerunner ships for now, and focus on covenant, as they do have a extensive navy, and ground troops. - will need to find picture sources ect for the troop types / races - should be sort of easy lol --

yeah the only real identifying ship is the super carrier, and the smaller ships.
pretty much from cruiser down they vary in appearance. -- the real unique ones, are the supper carrier, destroyer, frig,space banshee, corvette stelth frig and cruiser. -- the carrier model you have/ battleship and the destroyer, - only other thing is to copy the cruser mesh and apply it to colony ships, - maybe apply the frigate model when you've done it, to fighters. - unless you've got a space banshee model.

"Covenant Brute Regiment" -"Powerfull" but not as spec-

as for leaders " Names should begin with "Prophet"
whenever your ready, I cant stick it up on steam. - just let me know. il run some tests, buff them alittle "Probibly" - to match unsc - give them shield bonuses ect. if you haven't alredy -
say all covenant ships have a "30% higher shield hp buff" and plasma weaponry fire rate buff. / 5% speed buff to balance out the unsc armor tank buff.

compared to unsc ships with were slow, heavily armored, guass platforms. - so buffing covvy with shields, and some speed buff, should be good.
all covvy ships receive 30% + buff for shield hp and regen.
and 5% speed / hyperdrive jump speed/ charge -- something like that
Well,I'm recently busy doing my work as a concept artist for a game project so I have little time for this.But I still managed to complete some models.I would probably finish it by the end of the month.
so any progress on the ships? you've been quiet for awhile , everything ok?
