If you have a mod, i probably have a useful idea. And if you have ideas, then i can help you make them real. I'm very multi-talented, but my strongest attribute is within the computer. Some of my Talents are: -Drawing and Sketching -Two-dimensional Animating -Three-dimensional graphics, modeling and the like -Three-dimensional Animating -Audio Sequencing -Video Editing -An Inventive Mind -An Open Mind And I love working with others, as well as to help them as a team player to reach their goals. I am very easy to work with and I want to make many friends here on Mod DB.

sorry, i've been slacking also. Duty calls, as i left for Army boot camp. but i haven't let up on this project yet. it took me six months, however, to get out of training (unexpected delays).

i will continue to back this project up for as long as i can. don't count me out criderman.

i was thinking, instead of making countless player models - lets just keep the classic consistent characters (Son, Tai, Knux, Shad, E-Robots, Amy, perhaps the Freedom fighters) and an interface to create your own Character ~config saved on your computer and is server-wide distinguishable.

This has NEVER been done before! but it's possible! And I see so many people across the Internet with their own created hedgehog or fox or echidna.

Maybe we can still do it! If we keep the concept of Prime and the bounty hunters, but make everything OUR OWN creations (like the Aran Bros. or something LOL) we can still do it! It will be hard to stop something that doesn't include copyrighted material!

If we put our minds to it, we can do ANYTHING1

i wish there were more i could contribute. i'm working a mac, with limited game creation capability. if anyone takes the time to read the "Asking the Community" news post, you'll see I have many ideas. and more i'd love to share with anyone who is interested in getting this project from the idea phase to a working alpha version. (or even better, a beta project) when i have my tools, i'll submit content located on my page which will later be ported to this homepage.

if anything, lets continue to discuss how we can create this game.

they shouldn't all rush either. set up some "preparation" variable containers or other code that tells the CPU to wait and prepare, then rush.

one problem i see converting the fps platform to physics platform: when the player runs to the ramp or incline, they stop. the incline becomes a wall. need to figure out how we are gonna get the players to "stick" to the wall using some inertial function. meaning, those loop-de-loops will be impossible to feat.

again, i propose the blue ball beta engine. :P

also, on this one -> if there is going to be a battle system then there should be an extensive and quite notable fighting and move system. most attacks would be speed based or done while moving, but we all know there are variant characters with various abilities. so that grows the list even further. but a good battling system will be essential for tackling enemies. whether PvE or PvP.

unless we are going to use 2-d curves, alignments, and a basic 2d engine, we have to focus on 3d and getting the characters to move right.

basically this means we have to get the player unit from fps mode to sonic mode.

which is why i emphasize the "blue ball beta" theory.

ok, so back to this.

apparently i've been pouring my innermost ideas out to the crowd. trying to breathe some life and inspiration into the Mod community. does anybody care to share their thoughts too? the more we talk and converse, the greater our chances are of making the dream come to life. we have to share our ideas and our talents, because only until we do that will we achieve progress.

i thank you all who already have given your ideas. lets keep this mod alive.
