The engine is by no means easy to work with. However, if you know your programming and logic and are comfortable changing source code, you can do a lot with Torque3D.

Multiverse MMO is an excellent engine capable of doing a lot even though it's open source and free to use. All it takes is a fair amount of hard work and knowledge of the required programming languages to use it. Of course, there's a very high learning curve and development is slow, but if more people were willing to donate to help keep the project going, we'd see it come to its full potential! We're proud to use it as our game's engine!
