The scan effect over the goggles is what really sells it ;)

All the combat will take place in space, ship vs. ship. The action is set in a 2D plane, with 3D camera control.

How about fighters against civilian ships?

Not sure I understand, if you're talking about movement the swarm fighter launch effect and movement is still being worked on
