Description

Finished up the setup in Maya after preparing the images for import to Maya from Photoshop. Using a simple pipeline, so far it has been the following steps to get to this point:
1) reference proportions for human male face through google images
2) sketch a front and side view of face
3) take a picture with phone and send as email to myself (no scanner available)
4) download and import to Photoshop
5) edit in Photoshop using gridlines as well as scale and rotate
6) import to Maya once saved

Next step. I begin the modeling process using planes, starting with the front view, adding points around the right eye as a starting point, symmetry for the leftside to update as i work on the rightside, all the traditional approaches to modeling with planes will be used and more screen shots to come....
.....LATE this evening.
