Um, this isn't a windows mod, it is an android mod. Read carefully please!

First make sure you have enough space, so double the space of the apk file or more is recommended. Because when you install an apk manually, you keep the installation AND the apk, meaning the apk needs to be deleted manually.

Second, if you have the base installation of the game and are trying to install the mod on top of it, it may be failing because the unmodded game is of a more recent version than the mod. Try deleting the base version if you have it, then install the mod.

There is also the possibility that you do not have Unknown Sources enabled, which will prevent the installation.

Last but not least, it's possible that your phone just does not support it in general, in which case there is nothing i can do sadly.

Super late reply, I apologize. I left some instructions up there. If you want to keep your old save data, just install the apk file on top of your current base wc3 installation.

If it doesn't work, or if you don't care about keeping your save data or don't have the base unmodded version installed, just install the apk without having the base WC3 installed. Make sure to have double the space needed since installing an apk manually will not delete the apk file.

Let's see, it's possible that your device may not be fully compatible with the app. I unfortunately wasn't able to test this mod on more than three phones. An HTC, an LG, and a ZTE, to which I was lucky to have the mod work on all three versions. This may sound weird, but try clearing the data and cache of the app in your settings. Or you could try to reinstall the app entirely. Or, if you have it, you could use lucky patcher to try and rebuild the app to work on your device!

Do you perhaps already have the base version of the app installed? If so, i’d recommend deleting the base version first, then installing the apk file. Other than that, I can’t offer much help besides making sure “Allow Unknown Sources” is enabled, or restarting the phone and attempting to install again.

I’m afraid not, at least not in its current form. I suppose it could be possible to take the specific modified files of this Android Version and Paste them into an already installed IOS version. However, i lack both the knowledge and resources to even attempt such a thing.

That would not be possible unless you somehow transfer a local save data file containing those three generals. Such a feat would be beyond my reach. The app has also been modified to be offline only, so there would be no way to acquire said generals. Your best bet would be to make your custom generals better than the purchasable ones.

Hello There! To answer your second question, I'm afraid this is the last and final version of this mod and I have no further plans to work on World Conqueror 3 any further. But as per your first question, making a mod like this can range from pretty easy to pretty difficult depending on what you want done. If you just wish to modify visual assets like the Unit Uniforms or Boats, etc, you can just modify the images in Photoshop. However, changing stuff like starting resources for example requires a specific tool. Let me give you a list of things you might want:

+ APK Editor (Phone App): An app that let's you open up any installed app or any apk file to extract and/or replace in game assets with equivalent modified files. Then rebuild the app once everything is done. Here is the link:

+ Any sort of File Manager: You may want to get a file manager unless your comfortable with your phone's base file manager. This would be to keep your modified files organized and stuff like that. I personally use one called "File Manager HD". Here is the link:

+ Lucky Patcher: Not necessary, however it is a cool app to use for when you download an app that has ads, which you are able to remove using this. Here is the link:

+ PhotoShop CS6 or any other photo editing software you are comfortable using: These would be useful for modifying the look of certain assets that are available in image form such as many of the game's HUD elements.

+ Total Commander: This is where the real potential of where modding this game comes in. TotalCommander is a tool that can help you modify most of the games ".json" files, (essentially .ini or .prx files). These .json files can contain anything from campaign mission rewards to troop damage ranges, etc. However, it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out. I'm afraid I don't know how to help you in that situation. The only thing I can think of would be to set your phone to auto rotate, then constantly flip the phone until it fixes itself. It is very possible that the app just isn't fully compatible with your phone. I'd suggest tweaking your phone's settings for a possible solution.

That's a fair question. It indeed does not have a virus. Otherwise, it would have not gotten approved by the administrators who approved the file to begin with. You may download this without any risk to your device.

I honestly have no clue. If both versions use the .json file format, it might be a possibility. However, you would have to deconstruct the downloaded apk file, and find the correct .json files to replace. Considering World Conqueror 3 is a Windows store app, you might find it in your Windows User's %AppData folder. Even then, Android, Iphone, and Windows .json files may not be compatible with each other in the first place.

Hello there! Sorry for the late reply! I've actually never thought to try something like that. However, it would all hinge upon whether or not the Andriod version's ".json" files work with the Windows version. If I remember correctly, the files for the Windows version are located somewhere within your %appdata folder. I'd say give it a shot if you want!

Hi there! To answer your question, all this modded version offers is an unlimited supply of non in-game resources like medals, energy, industry, etc. It keeps the gameplay itself, including how many total generals you can have, intact and unchanged. Aside from that, most of the changes are aesthetic, such as new banners behind the general heads and a nearly two-hour long background music track. If you do wish to install it, I hope you have as much fun with it as I did myself! Have an awesome day!

Hello! Well, I wouldn't recommend downloading this version of the mod as it is outdated. Both the newer and older versions serve the same purpose, to keep the gameplay of the game intact while providing a bonus of infinite HQ resources to boost player progression. And, more so on the newest version, to provide a different (albeit minor) aesthetic look to the game in terms of visual and sound changes. I can provide you with the link to the newest version here:

You could try and check the community-website for European War 4 as there could be some IOS mods for WC3 & WC4 lying around. Dear Dr. Mabuse. Despite the fact that this project is dead, I want to thank you and whoever has helped you develop the PSP version of Cause of War 1944. Ever since I encountered NZP PSP back when I was 12 if my memory doesn't fail me, (born in '99), I've been a real fan of both yours and the NZP Team's work. For years I was both entertained by NZP, and excited to see new maps and to see the progress of CoW. I even remember commenting on this 2 years ago thanking you for the work you've put in to this whether it released or not. I know that this game will probably remain dead forever, but I still want you to know that I believe I speak for everyone in saying thank you for dedicating your time to work on this awesome project!

If there ever is an off chance that you might work on this again, I'll gladly be one of the first ones to check on it every day like I used to do years ago. It's completely up to you, but if possible, maybe you could release what was left of development on this version to the public; maybe someone else might be willing to take the torch.
