I've not read the books or anything, but looking at the lore I read and the military strategies employed, I get the feeling that the armies in Witcher world are alot more like professional standing armies that we see in the Late Middle Ages to the Early Modern Period. They are still knights and levied militias, no doubt, but to me it seems like most nations employ standing armies as the bulk of their forces. It's as if gunpowder wasn't invented yet in this world.

The men seen above were likely issued with such armour by the kingdom's military so long as they served, handed out by a quartermaster.

Are you planning on releasing the source code publicly or privately? I would like to add the Form AI submod and Autokylos's morale system to have more immersive battles, mainly for private use. It frustrating for me because I can't make these tweaks for my own private use, unless I have the source code.

If you like I can share the final code with you so you can upload or use it however you like.
