Okay, I thought so. It's right the line is a little off on that spot and I tried a few things to correct it, but the ballpoint pen is really unforgiving, so I just kept rendering like on the rest of the drawing.
Immediately brings Van Gogh's work to mind.
It's a good exercise in that the ballpoint doesn't give the advantage of the same shading techniques a pencil or charcoal does. Great work on the eyes ( always gave me a hassle ).
It's funny to hear people say that, because drawing with a ballpoint pen isn't that much different from drawing with a pencil, at least I think so, but hey, thanks for the compliments :)
Haven't used a ballpoint-pen for a while now and I was bored during my break, so I looked quickly for a reference photo and started drawing. Has some interesting feel and was a fun timekiller.
Schönes Portrait!
Using ballpoint can be very exciting, no strg+z :D
You're still visiting my profile sometimes? Sweet.
I think the most exciting part of working with a ballpoint-pen is defining value by cross hatching.
Viele schones !
Very nice! and with a ball-point, I couldn't do that.
Thanks.
The proportions are a bit off.
It would be more helpful to know where they're off.
In that place where his head line ends and the beard begins you made it a bit to dark and it looks like a small part of his face is chopped off.
Left or right side?
On the right.

Luv it. Just nice work :)
Thank you.

Yeah and I really like the shading techniques of a ballpoint pen and the rough look of the results are definitely interesting every time.
Just WOW!
I wouldn't be able to draw that with a simpl ballpoint pen
