It's a photograph of a screen for goodness sake, stop trying to read so much into it.
Read the description guys.
"Also, Greek ships with blue stars and an orange eye on their sails, for reference."
On a note for those who think it's all black. There is texture to it. Try clicking on view the full size image...
I bet your mother is so proud of you.
Basically moving towards a cell-shaded art style?
"Build: 5'4, slight build."
My god, he's a midget! Bite them Irish kneecaps!
Yeah it is nice to see a new twist on the post-apocalyptic scenario, where there is just a lack of humanization, rather than a lack of planet.
The damn gun looks like it does in real life, as it does with MW2. MW2 did not invent the damn M4A1, it just used it ingame. Doesn't give it rights to no one else using it. I like how you quoted BF2 before hand as well, which came out well before MW2, yet as far as I remember, featured an M4.
Strange, textured JUST like MW2? Could that by any chance mean, that MW2 textured the gun to look like it does in real life? As did this mod? No. That can't be it. Same goes for the arms. Texture it to look like real life camo? Nah, obviously copied from MW2.
Also an extra note. If you are going to call me an idiot, please do so using correct grammar and spelling.
Exactly. Some people seem to forget the entire point of the Total War genre, and that it isn't a recreation of events, but allows the user to have there own twist on them. Instead the concentrate on arguing about history. Way to support the mod guys.
"I sure this weapon from cod "m4a1""
Ever occur to you it's a real gun?
Just because you can't find the guy doesn't mean you automatically can use it. This is firstly, against the law, secondly down right ignorant. Copyright law can be used to sue your *** for millions in copyright infringement.
Try reading the title.
"HK416 with special stock"
A compromise between the two would be ideal. Everyone likes to see a difference between enemies, adds a bit of flavour to it, but I would also like to see at least SOME gibbing effects etc.
All armies look carefully at the local flora and fauna before any covert mission, and if possible take samples. The ghillie suits would be the same colour, and texture as the ground they will pass along. As you can see, the floor is not snowy.
Seen as they are the same engine, yes it should.
Hmmm, I don't seem to recall him saying he had one?
That sure is a smexy bolter right there.
Yeah, apart from maybe curving the stock a bit more it's pretty well done!
I think the only main problem with this is the length of the barrel, the size looks out of place. The Makarov PMm is a perfect example of a short looking pistol. Though it seems this is Beretta inspired. Maybe extend the barrel, or look at changing the end of the muzzle and barrel shape?
No, it definitely wasn't. What you are thinking of is the GECK Construction Kit, which is just a visual editor to create content etc. but that is not the actual engine.
Knee pads make the leg too thin. Part from that, it's pretty good for a WIP :)
"Set in a dystopian near-future inspired by the world of George Orwell's 1984"
Read that again. "Near-future". It is only inspired by the book 1984, not based in that year.
It looks a lot more like a MK46 actually...
Being someone who has by the looks of it textured before, I would've thought you would understand the magic three letters, "WIP". Give them a chance.
