Okay, thank you! It does have the fog, sorry for responding so late. I did an LP series of this game on my YT channel if you are interested! I've wanted to for a long time, and finally got around to it with Ver. 14! It's been fun watching this mod come as far as it has. I do have a question though, didn't you say quite a while back there would be additional stand alone episodes that expand on parts of the story or something? Have any of those been released?

I thought I had been playing version 14 (I downloaded it on March 20th via the deployment program) but when I select "Custom Game", it says it's version 13.10.4... have I been playing an outdated version this whole time?

And so here I am, playing through this mod yet again. It's been fun watching it develop throughout the years, every few versions or so I do another playthrough to see what's changed.

I do have some questions about some of the additions to the game, namely the collectibles. You can find files and hidden containers, but what is their purpose? The game says the files can be used to unlock secret hints 'n stuff, and the hidden containers unlock new abilities, but how do you access these? Is it something in a menu, or do you hit a specific key? Do you have to find every one of them in the game before something is unlocked? Last time I finished the mod (version 8 I think?) I don't recall anything being unlocked, though I also did not find everything.

Also, what's the status on the spinoffs? Are any of them done yet, and if so, where an I play them? Are they a separate download, or do you access them within the ESHQ menu somehow?

EDIT: Nvm about the files, I just found the 50th one (all so far) and I see how it works ;3 The other questions still stand though.

Not sure if it's the end of the current version or a bug, but in the second laboratory (where you have to find all the keycards) I got the main keycard and boarded the tram, but...it leads me nowhere. It takes me to the end of the tunnel, into the blackness a bit, and then stops.

That does clear it up, thank you! ^^ The improvements between your old game and Wings of Dawn: Episode 1 were immense. I was mindblown when I played the mission where you fly inside the colony; I've never seen an object of that scale in any FS2 campaign, let alone one you could actually fly inside of! It's rare that you're actually able to fly inside ships, out of all the campaigns I've played, it's something I've only seen done a in a few campaigns. One of them being the original WoD, of course. :P

The VN segments between missions were also nice and unique as far as I know, I've never seen anyone else do something like that.

Really looking forward to seeing what episode 2 brings to the table! It's gonna be awesome, I'm sure! :D Tho I'll probably play the remastered Episode 1 first to refresh myself on events xD

Btw, I've got a question...what is the relation between the 2 Wings of Dawn titles? I've played Episode 1 of this, but I played another, older Wings of Dawn title that was a complete story from start to end. Is this new Wings of Dawn series a re-telling or re-imagining of the original game? Or is it a sequel...or a prequel..? I recall looking for this information but I couldn't find anything on it, so I figure I may as well ask the one making it!

I see...

I'm now stuck in the dark area. I found my way up the ladder, and made it to a room with a broken ladder and a locked door at the bottom...I've run around this entire area multiple times trying to figure out what to do and I'm running out of patience. Can I have a hint on what to do?

This idiot scientist that you have to save in the 2nd chapter is not going down the lift with me. Am I doing something wrong? I already got the code and shut down the steam.

EDIT: Finally got him to walk onto it from the right side. Right side when standing on the elevator and facing him I mean.

Ah, alright. The story seemed pretty straight forward up til this point, stop the bad guys, destroy their bases, etc. Once Sampi was out of the picture, it seemed like the only story-related thing left was to just retrieve that prototype weapon as requested by Oakwood, after which you could just return and end it. So I was wondering what the point of traveling deeper, stealing the gravity core, reaching the Kkor facility, etc actually was, outside of just finding out what's at the end down there. Unless that is the point and it's supposed to be a mystery? Either way, I'm liking it. Looking forward to seeing the conclusion!

Are you entering the portal to return back to the Oakwood lab? If so, that's your problem; you're choosing to end the game there. Instead of entering the portal, search for another route to continue onwards.

Okay, how the heck are you supposed to get past that room with the 4 pipes in EUCC Communication Tunnels? There's a vent on the wall, but it's too high to reach, and I can't even get up onto those little light fixtures below it either. I tried launching myself at them like a fish out of water for 10 minutes but couldn't do it. I cannot interact with the valves, either. I can't tell if this is a glitch, or if I'm just missing something.

EDIT: Nvm, figured it out.

Well, now I'm pretty certain I've encountered the bug. I got a crash in The Rift, and after reloading, certain interactions are broken. I can't make potions, and I can't use the pickaxe to break the rocks...
