Jungle answered it pretty much, the size restriction doesn't allow much space to add customization. For sure I can guarantee there will be various hair colors and styles as well a few skin tones.
With the ranking in your village, I'm thinking perhaps making outfits for each job class, Miner, Smith, Baker, Farmer, Miller and the likes.
