Thank you for your crucial and essential support of this game. I have a few suggestions: include the option to disable the new Inn mission regardless of difficulty as it strays too far from vanilla by default and is, imo, poorly designed, reimplement some Xbox features such as lockpicking vibration and camera turning, Xbox HUD icons and weapon swapping system (if possible of course) and add an option for changing controller sensitivity (and general controller support improvements), options enabled for EAX by default (if possible) and option for original assassins. But if not, no problem. You rock and so does this patch.

Nvidia Shadowplay overlay is not compatible with this game. It has to be turned off entirely.

Hey Hawkbird. I think one of Deus Ex's biggest problems nowadays is playing it above its default FOV, and having the viewmodels unnaturally extend and cut off. I think a fix for this would be of great benefit as the only known fix is a big pain to go through. Would this be possible for future updates?
Having DirectX 9 and/or 10 available would also be of great benefit as in my experience, they're easily the best around, although I imagine you'd have to get permission for those. Compatibility with Kentie's Launcher would also be a great touch, and help to make this the definitive Deus Ex package for a vanilla yet playable and compatible experience. Lastly, launching with Steam and GOG would be ideal.

Do I still need to download the Map Fix with this mod?

This deserves way more recognition. It's so well done, even having a surplus of control options and well designed UI as well as explanations for what each option does.

This is an absolute god send and for me, easily the best way to play DOOM 3 in any form.
All I wanted was BFG's additions (HD support, non-glitched framerates above 60, controller support, proper widescreen, FOV, etc.) but with the original game's ammo count, lighting, ROE gameplay and flashlight. This was the least hassle way of doing that I could find and it's full of options. Fantastic work and I can't thank you enough.

Will this be vanilla gameplay but new maps, or will there be new gimmicks, weapons and/or enemies?

The intro is already a highly questionable, spoilerific inclusion in the original game, but the addition of the gender change of the clone nails it in, and so does your character walking in the intro. I thought it was meant to be JC as he's growing, so it doesn't make sense for JC to be there, and obviously Paul's still a guy so it's not him. It could also be interpreted as Alex D in the tube who may be a guy, so it should've been left as it was, imo.

Nothing mentions this that I can find, but even a fresh install won't work with this mod if you've installed Kentie's Launcher in the past, as the launcher stores settings elsewhere that aren't deleted when the game's uninstalled. You have to delete the Deus Ex folder in documents on your computer as well.

You should make a mod that does nothing but make it so you don't have to double-press to dodge. Just one press while moving in any direction, like with Unreal Tournament 4.

This is my all-time favourite game, but it's always frustrated me how stupid the idea is of double-press to dodge is since I still, after all these years, do it unintentionally.

The locker code idea is cool but it'd be much better if it worked like the new Deus Ex games, wherein if you have the code then it would come up automatically, so you don't have to search through all your stuff. I imagine this would take a lot of work, though.

Technically no, but the mouse input still feels like it is.
