I love this game as well. I have played since 3 months prior to going public on June 6th 2001 as beta tester and still playing today, 20 years later. There really is no other game quite like it. A seamless map over 300,000 square km, combined arms of Land, Sea, and Air. Hundreds of units/vehicles with variants that come into play as you progress through the time line of WWII. Your not limited to just one thing you can do it all.

Strategy and comradery of capturing cities and towns working together and with High Command personnel who move brigades around the map and set mission Objectives to strategically cut off enemy supply and by capping the others factories, and the towns they are in, you can win the map.

But first you have to fight you way to those cities with the factories. A campaign can last a week or 85 days as campaign #182 Just did. There is strategic bombing of factories to slow down production of enemy units which are calculated in to the a supply system. Bomb factories, RDP raids (research and development) slowing down production of those units. Force the surrender of towns buy cutting them off from their supply lines and hold it long enough for the surrender to become official or have the enemy mount a counter offensive and break free. Everything is too varied to get stale. There is no cookie cutter play here. Your up against other live players and you cannot predict accurately what the other is going to do you can only guess or from experience deduce whats possible and yet that may not be good enough. You pit your self against your foes all in good fun and exciting play. A game, a simulation, WWII warfare testing skill and comradery that is needed to be able to win and I love it!
