I studied at Columbia, for game design and story development, and I've written several plays and novels. I don't really have a project at the moment, and I'm looking for someone to work alongside.

Description

This is for my minimalist game experiment, Gold Statue

(hosted on DeviantART at Heystevejoe.deviantart.com)

In this simple game you click on the twelve gold bars, collecting the resources you need to plate the stone statue gold.

When you have enough gold, you click the statue and it turns gold.

That is the entire game.

The reason this is more than just a gag or joke is because I have a second version of the game I jokingly titled "Gold Statue Game of the Year Edition" where I added a few features.

And the game got WORSE.

This got me thinking as I continued to play the sequels of games that got worse on their second installment and it is part of an ongoing investigation I am doing into what ruins a good thing.
