Much certainly something already mentioned, but i must say: the thing of skirmishers with random weapons is adequate, but the ratio seems to be confused and the number of guns and bows change from one battle to another. Is there a way to fix this? Or maybe an alternative troops.txt?

Aruda, please consider making the caparison thing independently of WSE, if possible, as it is in other mods. Thanks.

The heradic tunics of the Swadian Knights' horses is invisible. Is this a bug?

Edit: Nevermind, i found the bug poll and the information about WSE. Sorry for the trouble.

Hello. Is there any way to make this work to saved files? I have an old save of Kharkov random that i play a lot, and i want to play it without the need to make the entire german campaign again.
Thanks in advance.

Edit: Thanks for your effort. It's good to see that this (g)old game is still loved.
Edit2: Cheats doesn't work for me for some reason. If there's a way to just select chapters it would be fine enough.

I'm quite curious about the troops of Papal States. Under the great Pius IX, the military was composed by about 15.000 men from various nationalities, from units of heavy cavalry and light infantry to local militias and the famous Swiss Guard of our day. Not a large but no doubt a historically interesting force to see.

"Papal States" or even "States of the Church" is more accurate, no?

Interesting mod. I'm playing in a "messed" account with cheats and kinda to test it, and i'm liking. Some comments:

- A pope with... a wife?
- Ladsknecht armour suffers some kind of graphical bug: At a distance, you can see only sleeves. It's normal when closer. It could be my own settings, maybe.
- No report of any kind in my log during the game screen.
- A kind of very general and maybe technical question: There's a way to make AI use pikes only for thrust, as in reality?

I'll say some more in the future. Keep with the work! (y)

Some comments:

- In the dialogue screen, the character animation suffer with some kind of bug. Unimportant and not a cause of crash, but i feel useful to mention anyway.

- Historical sources mention a clear difference between groups of ashigaru armed with spears, matchlocks and archers. Spears are much more common, muskets gained more and more importance while archers were less important (more because of difficults in training common soldiers with this hard weapon than problems with the weapon itself). I suggest divide the skirmisher line in two immediately after the first skirmisher tier, one for ashigaru with muskets and the other with archer; in terms of costs, the matchlockmen could be high, followed by archers while spearmen could be comparatively cheap, to keep superior historical accuraccy.

Make a SP for Warband. The classic MB needs American Civil and Independence Wars.

Some lords and generals have fine uniforms of european cut. What about make them available for players trough special merchants in taverns, that also can sell lordly weapons, for example?

Sir, i have a question. Some rifles are carried by one hand like a sword, while others are used in the right, "line way", with 2 hands etc. There's a way i can change this? It's quite weird to see a soldier with a 4kg rifle in one hand like a knife.

I wish a good mod set in the American Civil War; any suggestion? Unfortunately it seems that ACW is quite forgotten, despite the excellent mods of 2016-17.

Combatibility with other mods (like a kind of addition) would be really great. Anyway, this looks a great work, keep it up.

New note:

The CHOSHU GUARDS don't use any ranged weapons. They only use the sword, and without sword but with a gun they simple don't use nothing at all. I suppose that this a problem beyond the troops.txt doc.

Thanks, and keep up the great work.

Gentlemen,

First of all, it's a great mod idea. The Boshin War is a great moment (in military terms). The shock of different eras is always "a thing to see".
About the mod, i have some comments that probably some other players already pointed out.

- Some rifle-armed troops have arrows and bows in their backs, like in the case of the "Elite Aizu Infantryman". More curious is the case of the"Elite Sendai Spearmen", armed with spears, rifles, kabutos and European-style infantry coats. This is probably part of the ashigaru properties of the original Gekokujo.

- Some guns like the Tabatiere and Chassepot rifles are carried by only one hand (like a one handed sword), while others like the Gewehr and Minie rifles are carried in the more correct "line infantry way", with both hands.

- Historical European troops in mods set in Asia are always a great idea; I like particularly the French Marines.

- There's a bug with the Withworth Rifle, used by Imperial snipers. It says "unable to find mesh" etc.

- The lines of Choshu troops recruited in castles and towns begin with european-like troops and ends with traditional earlier Japanese troops (that's, hatamoto), like in the case of revolver-armed "Choshu Bodyguard" that upgrade to "Mori Hatamoto Cavalry".

---

This is what i say until now. I'll play more, and comment more later. Salute!
