It'll only run at the correct speed if you go into your graphics control panel and set it to have vsync on. Unfortunately there's no way to do it in game (and it's been this way since it released on Steam a couple years ago so I wouldn't count on a fix happening).

What does this game have to offer to differentiate itself from all the other premium-priced RPGs on Desura that use the stock RPG Maker assets?

Question, did this (or will it) ever receive controller support?

Does this game have controller support (or would it work well with Joy2Key)? Or does it force you to use the mouse for aiming?

Haha, wow-- I remember playing the original Fairy Bloom years ago, never knew there was a remake (or sequel?). I'm going to keep my eye on this one.

Ahh I see, that's a shame. Sounds like an annoying thing to work out. Unfortunately for me forcing the vsync doesn't seem to work with this game (I tried the AMD Control Center and various tweaks with RadeonPro), so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a possible update. XD

Thanks for the quick reply!

Awesome job on the localization, but why aren't there any options for vsync? The original had it, but the screen tearing in this version is horrid.

Also, I should mention that messing with the Gamma settings in options didn't fix this.

Great job on the redux guys, but I'm having an issue with the lighting. Feels like all the brighter/darker colors are incredibly washed out, making dark areas appear gray instead of black. (These screenshots are without color correction, which gave all the dark colors a weird reddish hue)

Cloud.steampowered.com - Notice the shading on the gun compared to the shading in the cave

Is there any way of fixing this, through the console or something? This problem doesn't seem to exist in the original Mission Improbable part 1+2 or other HL2 mods. That can't be how the game is meant to look... right? I've looked all over the comments but I've seen no mention of this, so hopefully it's something on my end I can fix somehow.

No worries, happens to all of us. Glad it's such a simple thing to fix anyway. Thanks for checking it out!

Youtube.com - watch some of this video, it pretty much sounds exactly like my game does (not my video, so I guess it's not just me).

I'm running it on Windows 7 x64, and as far as I can tell it's every sound effect, jump noises, mouse noises, rocks falling, etc. The music seems like it's centered and working properly.

Thanks for the response btw, let me know if there's any other information I can give you to help with this. :D

Fun game so far, although I seem to be having a problem where the sound effects are coming only (or mostly) from the right-hand sound channel. I normally play games with headphones, so this kind of thing ends up driving me nuts. The music plays fine in stereo, it's just the sound effects that seem weighted to the right side. Is anyone else experiencing this?
