goddammit I'm sorry I didn't recognize your message I'm soo sorry cronos :S. Well I asked because your models are looking very good and detailed especially the round parts (like cockpits) I'm using 3ds max 9 too and am actually working on the paris class frigate from halo (you don't say) :D and its looking quite good. still I'm asking myself how you made the edges that have to be round that smooth - I'm not getting i how you made it . keep up the great work ;)
well, for the edges, i just do a bit of chamfering and cutting here and there, and when it needs to look smooth i just use the auto smooth tool. you'll find it under the polygons mode in editable poly. if not there then in editable mesh. and please if you're gonna reply post on the comments section of my profile because i don't check the profiles of other people that often.
