but at least ive to admit, HL2 makes fun, you just need to ignore the **** whit this physic puzzles and some of the mapping error.
Best weapon in HL2: The Grafity Gun and a big Metal Tabel! :)
You got a shield and something to hit more then 3 Combine at once!

Far Cry and Domm3 have nothing to do whit HL2, CryTeck and ID Software didnt buy anything from Valve, and why should they do?
CryTeck did had not enought money! hell, they are a small company here in germany!
And Id Software? Sure the do have enought money, but they dont need something from HL2.
