- Have you tried remapping them using the "Tab" key in game?

With all due honesty, i deleted the game before being able to test.

Ideally, you want to enable direct input and xinput at the same time (however Unity does it).
Use a few classes to control the bool/float data from the controllers. Send that data to a global or class variable that can be used across your game.
This way, it ensures the player can "pick up and play", regardless of controller input type.

If multiplayer is your "prime experience", i would suggest disabling single player, or completely removing it.
Focus on the area that your game is targeted at and appeals to players. This will ensure each user is granted that experience from the start.

I'am looking forward to seeing how this game progresses. If you improve on all the features you mentioned, i'll be sure to give it another go.

A prime example of too much promotion, and little in terms of gameplay/content.

- Did you test the game? No buttons on the xbox 360 controller work
- No texturing, bland visuals.
- Sound? of whats available, sounds like i'am listening through a brick wall
- Gameplay? A non-existent bundle of basic phsyx movements.

Such a disappointment when it actually comes down to the game.
The only good thing about this game currently? The animations.

Hi Dogtorque,

Good idea.
I changed the Autopilot to a similar style recently, now does the following for the full duration:
- Activates boost
- Automatic steering
- Provides full energy

Hi Dillon,

Great to hear from you, and, thanks for your kind words, appreciate it.

Must of been over 3+ years i've spent on this whole project, including the 3Drad prototyping and learning curve.
I still remember testing a Pcar in 3Drad and trying to replicate local gravity , before moving onto Vector3 and Quats, hence why 40 bikes is achievable in C++, well worth it!

Lucky to be using such a great game engine (OE2) which allows for everything to be achievable in the project.
I just hope with the teams help, we can pull off a game you'd enjoy playing :)

Hi Alice,

The Alpha 0.655a build has a expiry date of 16th Feb 2014.
This is intentional. As the game is still in development, the main goal is to prevent old builds from being distributed.

I was hoping to release a new build every 2 months, however, we are still waiting for assets to be finished and tested before another release is ideal.

I can only apologise for you not being able to play Tr-Zero 0.655a, but rest assured, when its ready, there will be a newer/better build coming in the future.

Its been a long road (as you know from the 3Drad version lol :)), still lots to do.
This time the project is massive, and, i'am lucky to have a small talented indie team onboard, helping to make TR-Zero something special :D

Hi Jabawur1,

The engine used in Tr-Zero (Oddity Engine 2) is a new engine targeted at next/current generation GPU features, therefore, only supports DX11.
I can only apologise, as this is out of my control.

lol. We'll see what happens :)
Its a team effort on this project, so i cant take all the credit.
Our small team Fuzon-uk.no-ip.biz are using only their free time and dedication to make Tr-Zero happen.

Hi Dogtorque,

Sorry your having issues with the optimiser, but it is designed to ensure 60fps on all systems (where possible).

55fps at 1028x1024 is below the threshold allowed and will count towards the missed frame count in the optimiser.

I need to know your PC specs if possible, so i can work out if its your CPU or GPU causing the bottleneck.

Hi Jez,
I'am hoping to test jumps in future track surface designs. So yes, its planned.
There was a few parts of the framework that needed reworking (RaceTracker) before it would be compatible with jump systems.

Environmental Hazards, never really planned this due to the sheer amount of bikes fighting against each other.
I have planned for Mines to be a weapon, so expect more things in the future :)

Add Best Trial Times (Smiliar From Re-Volt)
- Will get this put into the game to allow for best times etc

Ability To Player Restart Race (Expect Career Mode)
- Already exists. Offline and Host can restart any race from the pause menu

Ability To Upgrade Engine, Tires And Shield On Bike! (Smiliar To Wipeout Fusion)
- Upgraded visual parts. Will only be available if modelers can provide more time and assets for the game.

In regards to upcoming features, this mostly depends on content creation:
- We have 3 new racetracks, all awaiting visuals from a 3D artist

We are only a small indie group, with no funding. All working in our spare time to create a special and unique gameplay experience.

If we get enough interest in the project, i'll start creating a few planned and upcoming lists which are reachable targets, both here on IndieDB and the forums :)

As the guest reply has already confirmed, your GTX 260 is DirectX 10 capable only.

Apologies, but, you will need a DirectX 11 capable GPU to run Tr-Zero.

Hi Bloodaxe95,

The setting file in question would only allow you to play at 640x480 with minimal graphics.
It wont allow you to improve the graphics beyond your systems capabilities.

Hi Guest,

I sent a reply to your email with a settings file that will override the lock.
This will enable you to play Tr-Zero, at a reduced FPS, using your ATI Mobility Radeon HD 54xx GPU.

Unlike Crysis 2, Tr-Zero is still in early alpha stage. We have a very small indie group and all programming is done by one person (me :D).

We are aiming to optimise the GPU performance for lower spec systems as it progresses.
