2 is here and I'm scared

Absolutely awesome game. Me and a few other commentators got access to the press release for Steam and had a blast with this!

Heres some gameplay if you want to see.

So Many Me is a breath of fresh air in a genre that is plagued with mediocre at best games. The gams is first off is a very visually stunning game, I can't help but feel like I lost 50 points to my manliness scale when I play it because the artstyle makes me gigle like a schoolgirl. What I didn't expect on top of the great visuals is a great puzzle platformer as well. The mechanics are very solid and challenging, the idea of utilzing multiple replicas of yourself in unique ways to complete levels or get that epic hat that you've been wanting makes the actual gameplay experience very rewarding. The replayability is there as well, there are loads of unlocks that give you cosmetic items throughout the map. Obtaining these will allow you to customize ALL of your replicas. I HIGHLY recommend So Many Me for any fan of puzzle platformers or just simpily cutesy games.

If you prefer video format of basically what I said up there I do that too!

Excited to see the future of this game, overall I would call it average right now but it has the mechanics to bring some amazing stuff to the survival horror genre.

A very cool but very confusing game. I almost enjoy the fact that I do not know what is fully going on all the time.

A fun little top-down roguelike. I felt it was almost too closely related to Binding of Isaac, so much so that I feel it's a dulled down version of the real thing. This game draws a fine line between being inspired by and full-blown copying Binding of Isaac.

That being said it's a great little game, it has great mob mechanics and feels quite polished. I enjoy it but I can't help but feel like I would enjoy just playing Binding of Isaac a little more.

I look forward to the changes and I hope that you guys can smash those issues. I will keep up to date with everything regarding Vox in hopes one day I can make a more positive overview of the game. I don't want to do a negative review as much as you guys don't like having issues. Best of luck

I would avoid this game for the time being for the sheer amount of issues around it. The date of this review is 12/3/13 and the amount of bugs and faulty optimization makes this close to impossible to play. As this is a early access game bugs are to be expected but not the sheer amount I as well as a large chunk of the population have been experiencing.

Issues

Crash upon new char creation
Crash upon world loadup
Memory loss over time

As of this post I cannot create my own character, everytime I do I crash. They have supplied me with a level 15 character that for some reason does load in usually fine. Upon my first look of the game I also found the gameplay to be very unappealing as well.

What I didn't like

Bland graphics (biodomes change immedately and very visually unpleasing, skybox a constant blue with pure white clouds with no source of shading, world has a grainy texture that is just eye numbing)

Brutal optimization (I'm running a mid tier gaming PC and I cannot get over 40 frames at the lowest settings, when I put draw distance past 40ish feet I go down to about 7 frames

Bland combat (I can't say much for lategame as I'm not there but point click kill thus far)

This game is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G too many people are focused on the idea of voice recognition in this game (which is awesome) but the atmosphere and artstyle really blow me away personally. The voice recognition is just the icing on the cake.
