Yeah, but Blue Shift has less unique content (weapons, NPCs) than Opposing Force.
Damn, if developers include the campaigns from Blue Shift & Decay (at least, BS), this will be the best version, since those two expansions are more closer to Half-Life with variety of NPCs and weapons. Also, BS and HL maps would be compatible to each other.

I'm trying to find a way how to re-do this pack, because it seems it became as broken as it shouldn't be, due to complaints.
Due to studying and domestic problems I've got so far, I have to delay working on this pack (yeah, again) until the next year (probably March). This update may not be huge by itself, but needs a bit more work, because... well, I'm going to do some extra HD models for mods which are, obviously, related to HL1 storyline! (They will have their own addon pages though, so don't worry)
P. S. The next update will be re-uploaded as a mod, so this page may be deleted after I do this. Also, as I said, some models from the current update may be removed to make the pack "lighter" and more fitting the original HD Pack by Gearbox.
The model of SAW is pretty much the same, just reanimated. But I guess you're right.
Maybe it's better to remove new weapon models, since I don't have enough time (and strength) for editing them (except for vanilla fixes, like Beretta or Tau Cannon).
Maybe in 2023 (at least for Poke646). For now, I'm planning to make HD NPCs for Azure Sheep and Induction, after I finish some improvements for the next update.
That's exactly the reason why I can't do this. I don't want my addon to be just another fan-made pack, like HD2 (SD), UD or Trusty's one. Also, that's why I'm thinking about removing Race X aliens and some other PS2-like models from here.
I don't like those alien models from Dreamcast, to be honest.
And, speaking of SAW: you mean the animations?
The Female Assassin model has completely different skeleton (and animations) from the original one, so I don't know how to fix the NV goggles flip. Maybe I should try to rig it onto vanilla animations, but I'm not sure if it's possible.
As for the Shock Trooper, the model has that eye-closing skins, but I can't find a clue where I may screw it up while re-compilation.
Anyway, as I said above, I'm going to re-upload the whole addon as a mod for the retail High Definition Pack (it means that it'll have its own page here on ModDB), so some "unnecessary" models (like the Shock Trooper) may be removed. And, speaking about the Marines (Grunts), I'll do the alternative skins with classic heads and weapons only, and the clothes variants will be uploaded as a separate addon.
I had to remove it, because it's hard to maintain updates for it, since most of those improvements were not actually mine.
Yeah, I'm going to use the model from BrussTrigger's "Revitalization Pack" as a basis.
Good news, everyone. I decided to re-compile some models I used there to make them a bit more easier to be customized (for example, LonelySpaceBiker's Otis models, which have different skeletons somehow).
Also, I'll probably upload a "lite" version for retail HD Pack on Steam, which will include new and fixed models only. So, stay tuned!
I don't know how to remove the silencer from this model, so I'm not sure I'll do it. Marines and Black Ops also use a silenced variant, after all.

I tried, but it broke my game somehow.
They were in this pack, but then I had to remove them. They worked with "r_wadtextures" command only, which causes missing textures on the custom maps which don't have their own WADs.
To be honest, the back side of his vest placed pretty okay, but the front side, as well as trousers, looks like a disaster.
There was another attempt to place LD vest textures onto HD model, but with upscaled textures. There's still some issues in this skin, since it uses outdated (non-fixed) version of HD Barney, but the body texture itself looks good: Indiedb.com
The only possible way to edit Half-Life's BMP textures I found, when I started to make addons for HL1, is to open them through GIMP, switch mode from "Indexed" to "RGB", add the needed changes as a new layer(s), then merge these layers and switch the image back to "Indexed" mode. Still, I had to save result as a 256-colored BMP again through Paint. It may sound more complicated that your method, but damn, it's worth it.
To be honest, the Extended HD Pack is much better for me than this addon, because it has its own name, looks more like a finished product, and the other improvements doesn't affect it too much (in a good way).
I'm going to reupload some of my further improvements from there into separate addons, because I've realised there's nothing more I can do for this pack by myself, and it feels like I'm being hated for this.
But, I've asked Drakonuid if he'll include some stuff into his patch.
Maybe I messed up when trying to edit the map from Bratishka's patch. I'll try to use the vanilla maps from a fan-made Russian translation (without further changes) and then add them here.

UPDATE v14.0-14.1: Due to many complaints about BratishkaRUS's patches for HL & OF, they are removed from the current update. Still, the pack itself will be compatible with these patches (some map improvements from them may not work though, since the used addons made for vanilla maps).
As for more custom models, they won't be included either. Maybe I'll make a separate addon for the mod where they used, but I'm not sure.
Hmm. I noticed this kind of problem on fan-made Xash3D mobile port, but not on original Xash. I really don't get how it can be fixed, sorry...
