I make Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption Mods and I also have a really cool YouTube channel called Manda-LORE. I Like Star Wars (Old EU exclusivley), Love Lord of the Rings, and Warhammer 40,000 is pretty neat as well.

Looking good but the material seems flimsy, did it hold up?

The paintjob is also kinda plain, needs a few more scorch marks. The skull looks like it was spray painted on.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still super jealous!

Its made of a very sturdy plastic that's taken a hell of a beating so it's anything but flimsy. I plan on going back and adding dirt and grime and i need to watch some tutorials on how to do carbon scoring. the skull is spray painted, i thought it would look more authentic then slapping a sticker on there which was my plan B

Why do you have the re-glue? Did parts fall off or is it the placement?

Also looking at this picture, your chestplates seem to be a bit too wide for you, this will hinder the movement of your arms, especially when trying to grab something right in front of you. They should have the same width as the neck plate.
Maybe you can cut something off at the sides? The belly plate should be made smaller accordingly as well.

I used an inferior glue for some of my plates. It was mostly the straps on my legs and feet that were giving me trouble. I even at the last minute left my foot plats into the car because on my left one the Velcro kept falling off.

the sizes of the plates, I cant really do much about. I bought them already cast and ready to be painted, off ebay for a large frame adult because I was afraid small frame adult would be too small. All i can really do is place them closer together on the flack vest but then the belly would still be too wide. I made the flack vest myself but I've contemplated getting a better quality one off of etsy and being more careful with my placement of the plates. You cant see because I'm covering it up with my pauldron but my left shoulder plate hangs slightly lower than my right because the left is kind of on the very edge of the vest while the right has ample room. rather than poke new holes and forget which pegs go in which holes it may be easier to make or get a new flack vest

I feel you, on my first troop one of the straps of my codpiece fell off when putting it on, so I had to roll without it.^^

Well, I have no idea what sort of plastic your plates are made of, so I can't really say how viable it is to make them smaller, but I would advise you to look into it. If it's hard plastic (ABS or similar) you should be able to cut or saw it relatively easy.

Spray painting the skull is absolutely preferable to a sticker, but maybe you can clean up the outline a little bit painting manually with a brush.

For scorch marks try spraying black paint from a great distance, so that it only leaves a semi-covering layer. It's best to practise that on some cardboard or something.
For dirt and grime just mix slightly thinned black and brown acrylic paint, apply with a brush, let it dry halfway and then wipe most of it off again so that it naturally collects in recesses and such.
If you want more dirt just repeat this after one layer has completely dried until you have the desired amount.
