Hi, I'm a game modding, old-skool gaming, co-op enthusiast. I have worked on and created various mods for Unreal Tournament, UT2004, Neverwinter Nights and even SA:MP GTA3 hacks. Most notably I worked as a primary coder for Killing Floor before it went pro. Lately I've been directing my attention to 2 games I still love (well 3), Robotron, SmashTV & Doom, in the form of ScoreDoom, and now ScoreDoomST. Doom was based on the creators arcade sensibilities (google: 'Coelacanth: Lessons from Doom'), and so I extended their scoring system (monsters killed % etc...), to a fully fledged Arcade scoring system like SmashTV and Robotron. I think it works with Doom very well. ScoreDoom, which is essentially finished, was based on the GZDoom engine, that still retained primitive multiplayer support from the original Doom. This is ok for some people on a LAN or fast internet, but Skulltag, a proper Client-server sourceport released it's source code, and so now there is ScoreDoomST.

if you are looking for a points mod that seems to do a lot of what Scoredoom does point wise in-game, but compatible with latest gzdoom (and maybe zandronum?) you can use lazy points scoring system Zscript mod:
Forum.zdoom.org (havent tried it)
Together with the Scoredoom Monster Replacement Randomizer V1.1.7 that should get you pretty close.

Hi,
You have probably worked it out already, but its been a while... I would recommend installing on C Drive to be safe. You should be able to get the hosted DayZ CC website with web browser point to local host and whatever port it is working on.
Its probably possible to run it on another drive like F, but its been a long time since I ran this.
also, the Arma OA server executable got recently updated for Windows 11, so if running windows 11 and your Arma OA is updated in steam, you would need to copy the server exe from Arma OA root directory to the DayzCC-config instance directories like '1' and '2' to overwrite the old ones.

The server install readme addendums and corrections:

Arma2 and Arma2OA needs to be installed under default steam C: drive
for example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead

default username and pwd for Hive database is 'dayz' and 'dayz'
"http://127.0.0.1:78/chive/" for managing

and
"http://127.0.0.1:78/dayz/scores_winter.php"
to look at historical and current stats of players.

obviously if you are hosting on LAN or on internet, change 127.0.0.1 with your external facing IP or hostname for other players to see.

*do not enable battleye* it will complain.
Yeah, it would of been a lot more work to make it compatible, but I dont see a huge player base for this mod. ;P

Ah my apologies.. The 'OpenCoop maps for LibreCoop' addon seems change the regular maps. This addon is not required correct? Or is it?
Also, do the custom opencoop mappack maps go into the 'librecoop' directory? I did that but dont see them in the coop map list on create server GUI
Saw a video here: on how to install libre coop... which included the addon...

Hi, have everything up and running, and installed correctly, from the 'OpenCoop maps for LibreCoop' Addon. But cannot see the OC maps when I create a server.

The oc pk4s in both librecoop and librecoopd3xp dirs, but when I create a server in game for coop or survival and I only see regular campaign maps to chose, not any opencoop maps.
What am I missing? Thanks.
I take as well, that you can also use the open coop OpenCoop Mappack 2.0 or OpenCoop Mappack 2.0 Expansion? Which means the classic doom levels?
Again. thanks for any help. I just installed dhewm3 and Libre coop and everything is working well, except the opencoop maps not showing up in the GUI.

This is compatible with windows, not linux. It should run fine in windows 10, 7 and XP. Saying that, try playing about the windows compatibilty mode for the exe if you are experiencing problems, like try XP.

Hey, thanks, glad you like it. A lot of work went into gameplay balance when using the add-on & bonus packs with custom monsters. The 'docs' directory in the archive gets into how you can customize the content easily to your liking (see quickstart.html).
I just uploaded a newer release to moddb.. gzscoredoom3 0r5b, that fixed some issues when using the add-on and bonus packs. Namely the player is no longer semi-transparent initially, and the ammo drops during Boss Rushes are better now.

The hi scores and scoring is the main focus of this mod, but yeah, the focus on massive amounts of easily configurable extra enemies also is a big part of the mod. The engine supports configuration through simple ini files, and the extra monsters will remain constant every play which makes hi scores make sense. You can turn this off so that the extra monster replacements are random every play as well. Finally, its a lot of fun in competitive co-op as well.

ScoredoomST is different, in that is built with the the original skulltag source code, and is focused more on internet competitive co-op. I recommend though, if you have 2-4 people you can coordinate with, if you want to play with add-on and bonus pack monsters, with wads like hell revealed, regular scoredoom co-op competitive multiplayer is more stable.

this is an old sourceport and mod, made from the original Skulltag 0.97c2 source release, which came out just before skulltag forked into Zandronum.

It is separate from Scoredoom, the other sourceport and mod, which was based on gzdoom source code. To be honest, if you have some 2-4 friends to coordinate with setting up the host/connections, playing multiplayer competitive co-op in Scoredoom is more stable than in ScoredoomST, if you are playing with the add-on packs and with wads like hell revealed.

Hello there,

No, I have not, just took a look at it. Do you recommend it?

I have been tempted to re-learn C++ and get into Unreal Tech 4 though, as well as potentially working on an Arma 3 mod.
