Hi!
To use Excel is absolutely useless and even counter-productive to translate the .csv files needed for Warband. These .csv are NOT Comma Separated Values files but simple text files that can be open and translated with a standard text editor as Notepad++: you just have to translate the texts that are behind the | character and leave the ID before the | unchanged.
If Excel is used, the result is what we can see into your file dialogs.csv that has 15 commas after each line, commas that must be deleted. Fortunately, the other files don't have this issue.
Another bad thing: all the .csv files into provided into the archive are encoded into ANSI when they all should be encoded in UTF-8. If not, there will be issues with accentuated letters in foreign languages, French, turkish, spanish... when played by the game.
So be warned everybody: don't use Excel!!! Use instead Notepad++ or another free advanced text editor that will permit to avoid the useless final commas generated by Excel, and think to save the files in UTF-8 and not in ANSI as Excel do.
Good translation!
