Some people say you can't have semitransparent shadows in games. As you can see, this is not entirely true. ;)
This is a MP5, yes, but it's our own model.
It uses Lua for scripting. I'm not really sure what do you mean by "multiple monsters" but yes, the engine is able to display dozens of characters (like enemies) at once.

No -- it is OpenGL. This screenshot has been taken from version using OpenGL 2 & Cg shaders. Currently we use OpenGL 3.3.
