Piracy can be solved by releasing demos and making games cheaper. Pirates pirate games usually either because they can't afford them or because they want to try them out before buying (if there's no demo, or the demo isn't sufficient for them).

Thieves on the other hand will never be stopped. There are some people who will always steal things, simply because they can. They will always find some way to steal things. You can't stop them.

How compatible is this mod with FCOM?

I played it, and it's very good for being Beta. There were some issues with the mouse controls though. It seemed like my sensitivity wouldn't go down until I changed the DPI on my mouse (I've got buttons for that on my Logitech G7). So, there's a problem with the in-game sensitivity.

Apart from actual game bugs, there are a couple spelling errors and some inconsistencies in capitalization and stuff. Not really a problem, but they distract from the game itself.

I always buy indie games. I pirate to try before I buy, if there's no demo. Games wouldn't get pirated nearly as often if the developer released a demo.

Is there supposed to be sound? I'm using VLC, and I don't hear anything. These would be a lot more useful with sound.

I've never "managed" anyone before, but I might be sorta good at it. I've always worked alone, which has provided many great learning experiences for me. I'd recommend working alone atleast until you find something you really like to do (Mapping, modeling, textures, voice acting, animating, etc etc). I personally love mapping, but I know how to do a lot of the other stuff. I'm not very good at the other stuff though.
