OMG! I feel the same way! I was like, "there's an update to NH2?!". And now... I gotta wait! Gah! XD
Looks really nice! I think the sprite used for the light is a bit bright though... doesn't really suit the ambiance with the rest of the room. Keep up the good work though! Looking forward to playing this bad-*** game (not considered a mod to me...)!
The ambient lighting looks really good here!
Same here... the way it shines just looks so beautiful. :D
I'm very glad to hear that! I think we all need a little comfort before we **** our pants! XD
Really nice cement wall textures there... especially with the rust from the pipes! :)
Take your time with it. Doing school and working on this mod would corrupt you, so doing steps at a time is more worth it. I'd rather wait a while to have a finished product than to have you push it through with many problems. We're all sticking around, so you don't have to worry. :)
I agree! I was always a big fan of RE2 and remains my favorite of the series. :D
Oh crap... I never liked those stairs leading to the basement... XD
I'm not sure if you're rushing on this.. but the textures on the desk look a bit strange. It seems like it needs to have a smaller texture with higher resolution. In your earlier works... there was more attention to detail. Otherwise, good to see more work done on this. :)
Agreed as well, with a game like this... short-cuts aren't the way to go.
Isn't this where you find the sub-machine gun?
The way I remembered was the hallway was dark. Maybe tone down the light source a bit?
I'm thinking he really just needs to change the color and resolution of the texture.
Seriously... it looks EXACTLY like it! :D
Wait... how have I not heard of this?1 It's my all-time favorite RE of the series. And people played a demo of it? Let me know! XD
Nice pic. The only thing (and this is minor) is the yellow-to-black stripes. On the bottom-right and top-left, they don't seem to have that transition as the counter parts. Other than that, it looks good.
I'm sure it's on their mind. Once someone brave enough to give enemy animation a try... they'll be glad to update on this once again. :)
Nice! :) Always good to see work being done on this. Always been a huge fan of the older Resident Evil games. :)
I don't know what's going on... but that thing looks kick ***! :D
Maybe in the future... if you end up getting some people interested in doing monsters... you could do patches and updates. But... in the end, that might be more work than needed. Anyway, I'm waiting for it to be done downloading... can't wait to play it! :D
Adding the right amount of texture and color makes a big difference... so that definitely helps. Big props to both of you. :)
Maybe he can change the left side of steps to a ramp to make it more believable. :)
I like the beams. It makes the hallway look more dynamic.
The lighting in this pic really brings it to life. The realism shows with the light shining on the '2B' sign. It just looks beautiful. :D
