A 'Free' account starts with 800 Fuel and a 3,500 Fuel tank and generates 576 fuel a day (ticks every 15 mins) which gives you 4,032 fuel a week.
Yes you can purchase engines that give more fuel (starting at £6.50 for a life time upgrade) and other store purchases upgrades, but you can ALSO grab fuel in game via play mechanics and even from voting on a regular basis.
If you like the game enough to want to play past the normal allotted fuel then there are options. CE is always about options lol.
