Click your window key and R to open the "run" window. Then type ra3.exe -ui and click the game browser. Click the mods tab and then RC Retarded. Or, add -ui to your Ra3 shortcut and that will take you to the same place. Enjoy :)

If we can get over 100 downloads, I will be able to hold a competition that will decide the names of the new units in the Cabals Redemption Mod. What I announced on the CNC forums is that whoever downloads the newer update on 1.01 will be able to play in a contest. This contest will decided the new names for the new Tier 4 Epic units that will be added into this mod. The first three positions will be the winners of the competition. This is only if we can get over 100 downloads or so.

1.01 was uploaded today and awaiting authorization. This version improves balance, units, and changes some of the units aspects. This is a more competitive version of the mod.

Patch 1.01 is currently under development and might be released tomorrow as a beta version. This version makes significant balance adjustments to make the game not only more fun, but fixes each teams units to fit their description.

After testing the mod, please post comments on what you liked and disliked about the mod. Right now version 1.01 is being worked on and its going to have more balance changes and price adjustments and hopefully we can get red tiberium in this time. :D

Yesterday, I started the development on a secondary project that will make playing Tiberium Wars more fun. Its called the Insane mod and its based on completely changing the gameplay style that everyone has become familiar with. It changes all the units and structures in a certain way that will not only make the game more fun, but will also keep balance intact. The following changes are as follows:

GDI Power Plant now at $700 and build time at 7s

Tripods now begin with Heroic Status Beams

Mammoths now fire 12 rockets from the rocket pods and cost 2200, build in 7s, and now twice as fast.

Avatars now come with the beam cannon laser already upgraded and the flame thrower but now cost 2700 and build in 22s. (still working on graphical issues)

All Refinery build times are now set at 25s

All Harvesters now cost 1000 but take 20s to build

All Airfields no longer have a build radius

All Tier 3 defenses have longer ranges

All cranes and mini-mcv's now cost 750

MCV's now cost 3000 and take 30s to build




Changes to occur soon:

Predator tanks will cost 900 and build in 9s

PAC's will have 25s build times but cost is being debated

Scrin Harvesters speed will be increased as their special ability.

Many more changes.

If you have any mod ideas, please leave post them or email me and we will take them into consideration. As of right now, I have chosen to remove the Random Ion Storms due to out of synchronization issues. Also Tripods are being debated on whether the primary beam should be the heroic beam and then when the tripod reaches Heroic make it the Conversion beam but stronger or to stick with the Tiberium theft idea. Considering the theft idea has already been implemented into the CNC 3 Advanced mod, I dont feel like copying so this is why I am debating this idea. Also considering adding a different type of tripod. I feel that it would be better to have another tier 3 vehicle so I have decided to design a new kind of walking behemoth. Details coming soon.

As of right now, I have made the following changes to the game. No pics yet, just a note of changes that are currently done.

Increase build radius to 450 for conyard

decrease build radius for minimcv

decrease price of lightning towers

increase attack of sonic emitters

add tiberium theft to tripods

increase tiberium theft to 200 from 100

AI avatars upgrade and increase flame range

change AI BO for all difficulties and attack delays

Slightly increase PAC attack

increase mammoth tanks speed

decrease BH HP slightly

Easy comps now play like Brutal comps and Brutal comps are now advanced. Brutal comps now do Spam Build Orders and time delays decreased between attacks to 10s from 30s.

Avatars now gain a rocket launcher when commandeering a stealth tank

(working on) Adding Tiberium Weeds as a secondary resource

(working on) Ion storms from Tiberian Sun

You should try making your own models instead of stealing them from Renegade. Honesty, you didn't do any work, just copy and paste basically. I am not saying that, thats how you did it but that is basically what you did. Sure sure you had to resize and code the units into the game, animate them blah blah blah but you didn't make any of the models yourself. You need to stop taking the easy route and do some "real" work on this mod.

This mod still needs a lot of work. Personally, your not done until you fix all of the issues. The Advanced Guard Tower is pathetic, you need to fix the AI for that it is not active in games, you need to make all the structures the same as they were in CNC 95. All you did was take all the crap from Renegade and put it in this. You need to make the structures more like they were in CNC 95. Some of the units don't fire, like the MRLS. The Medium tanks need to be reanimated for the gun turrets barely turn. Not to say that this mod isn't good, but its not finished through my eyes. They are just too lazy to complete something they started and just left this mod half done. If you play random, you can still play as Scrin anyway. You need to address these issues team, this mod is not even close to complete and it needs a lot of work before you can say its "finished."

btw, why does GDI still have the original ref? Too lazy to change there refinery? Seems like thats the case.

You can play any and all cnc games on Vista. You just have to run as administrator. Right click on Icon and click run as administrator. This solves your problems. I know Vista sucks because im using it but this is the only way you can play any games on it unless its Vista Compadable
