Random number the box artist pulled out of a hat. No real meaning since it was just a piece of concept art and never intented to be sold.

3rd person was chosen because it is less common in shooters and as you mentioned it fitted the art and play styles nicely. We wanted to create a game that is meant for casual players and can be picked up easy for half a hour and then dropped again.
Besides that the original intent was to have allot of trinkets and artwork per class on the characters back as well, this however was one of the things cut when deadlines drew closer.
The whole game is still WIP and could use allot of polishing, some areas more than others. And yes :P due to the lack of a proper audio artist most sounds were added the last week(s) and are 90% of the time pitched free sounds or non licensed sounds.
If only we had the time :(, people are now working on it in offhours so maybe the option will get added in the future.
We did not have the time to program AI, even the current programmed features could use more polishing :P
Yes, it was made at the NHL in Leeuwarden.
The main goal has always been to build something nice for our portfolio's not to make money.
It is however pitched at a few places and we keep working on it in offhours for now. But the bulk of our time is now invested in the next project and internships.
If the pitches result into nothing then we might enter some competitions with it, just for the fun of it.
It was not by default, when we started this project we build our own FoV angles for it. But now the UDK already has the option build in since a few builds ago.
We will not be adding first person camera support due to lack of time we have to produce this game. Besides that it doesn't really fit in our original concept of the game either.

The team consists of students from the Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden (NHL). For this project we have put together a team of all disciplines to make a working, great looking and fun to play game for our Portfolios. After the first succesful semester making 1 class and 1 map it was decided to pick up the project another semester and extend it with 2 additional classes and 1 additional map. We continue to build on the experience that we gained working with Epic’s Unreal Development Kit.
