Where is this from? it's so cool
Where is this from? it's so cool
Does this work?
Sounds good, the more natives to conquer the better, on that note how is Africa looking in terms of factions?
Can you add Aussie and Maoris at some point it would be really since the New Zealand Land wars was a interesting war in the 1860/70s ( they invented a defensive fortification called a Pa which was copied by the British in WW1 because of its effectiveness so it wait make a good few sieges)
Can you add a Towns and stuff in New Zealand with a Maori Faction. I just really want to conquer them with the British Expeditionary forces. I read a lot of history on the New Zealand Land Wars (1860s). Either way can't wait for the mod
Even so the Armstrong guns were used extensively throughout the British empire although some were sold to the us and japan the British still had more and used more then the us and japan combined. Living in New Zealand they're found all round the country considering they were used alot in the New Zealand Wars. The Bulk of the american artillery in the 1860/70s was parrot guns and the Bulk of the British artillery was Armstrong guns in the 1860s and mixed between Armstrongs and RMLs in the 1870s with Breech loaders completely reintroduced in 1880s. So it would make more sense for japan to have the Armstrong or Parrot; they had more parrots, Britain to have Armstrong and America to have parrot. Since that would be correct for the majority of the late Victorian era
Armstrong guns are british, and parrot guns are american
Can you add swords since officers used swords more common then you think in the Zulu War (not like the great movies shows)
Cool, can't wait to play it, I was hoping for an optimised version of Anglo-Zulu wars (mount and blade mod)
Just found this game on greenlight, looks amazing (Zulu is my favorite film). Just two things, could officers get a sabre as it would be appropriate, and the Beaumont Adams Revolver was the first double action revolver meaning that it would not have to be cocked, and could fire more rapidly, that's why some Americans even bought the British revolver over the colt. Also I remember that the revolver takes as long as a muzzle loaded rifle to reload.
Can you make some cool British/Canadian uniforms so I can be a British Officer fighting for the CSA :). (I know there already is but they're lower quality compared with the CSA and federal uniforms.) But I love having French territories and implementing Canada would be cool since this is the only single player Victorian mod.
Also working Artillary/Gatlign gun would be cool but it might be a bit hard to implement.
Can't wait for the mod but just wondering why the textures look so bad, is it just how u screenshoted it cos compared to other mods it looks a bit pants. No offence love the Victorian setting.
How do I invest money in technology, I've spoken to the chancellor and other people in my council
how do u level up the tech? (sorry for asking so many questions, i just really enjoy ur mod)
I can't find any, i went to every faction, and went to a town and recruited archers and upgrading them expected to get a gunpowder unit, so it bit more help would be much appreciated
It would be cooler if all British units were fighting under the same Faction (British Empire), cos if I'm playing as Britain, I would like a foothold in Africa, India, Australia. Also adding New Zealand Maoris would be cool, as the NZ land wars went right through the Victorian era.
I think that there will be an update on the 100th anniversary of WWI on the 28th of July
They should also add the British Indian Army as DLC
An engineer class would be cool, the Royal Engineers had an integral part in the Somme.
Have you thought of including the L129A1 as the BAF DMR as it has now become the norm since 2009.
Will the British side have access to the C96, as many officer bought this pistol, including Winston Churchill (used it since the Boar Wars)
