Thanks to all beta testers. Heavy Hogur editor update has just been released. I will get back soon with a complete news story on the release...
Thanks =)
Yup, Mulver was more of trying to build an engine and testing the water. Also that game was a lot more challenging to make with all of the physics and continuous (non-tiled) level design.
We are three on the team and only me and Simon are actively working on Hogur right now. I'd like to have a small focused team so this is perfect I think =)
Thanks for the feedback and good to hear you liked it!
I tried hard to limit the number of different floor types while still being able to create a decent amount of tricky puzzles. But if you have suggestions for new types of tiles that would make new types of puzzles possible (while still being easy to code) I'd be happy to hear them :)
True but takes alot of time to animate, for me at least. Managed to do the idle animation myself but jumping sounds difficult.
Will put it on TODO list though, maybe Valri can fix it...
Ok, what if I make them more transparent then?
If not I can always switch back to the "pumpkins" :)
Yeah me too :) Any feedback is good.
Btw, I just sent download link to everyone watching the game. Hope you enjoy the game and thanks for helping with the testing!!
Beta news has been submitted and is currently "awaiting authorisation". Stay tuned...
Have had some issues with systems running Vista x64. Anyway new preliminary date for beta is on April 21st.
Excellent!
I hope to have something available on April 19th. Will post about it here on moddb of course..
Yes Valri is a very talented character artist :)
I havent decided on business model yet. Im tempted to try two versions one free and one deluxe version. Deluxe will support higher resolution, more options, built in editor etc but same levels included in both versions. Would be nice to at least recoup the cost for the models.
