You are correct, I missed recommendation of adding second 'z' in zzAlpha_Shotgun according to Helmet's readme. Now, when all your .pk4 are in single mod folder (and not partially in base),everything functions properly.
Relatively the shadows, all z-sec weapons remain being hold ... except for the replaced shotgun.

Thus, since you are also intended to update the model of machinegun, might it be convenient to use the same trick as with shotgun with only difference in inclusion in zArl, since it's already is considered as it's purpose?

This bug afflicts only zsecs, ordinary zombies with wrenches or flashlight look properly. Another, but similar one - is zombie with pistol having shadow of zombie with shield.

Also, testing all you mods together (imrovements, helmet, shotgun) shew discongruence of texture and model of shotgun, while shotgun alone don't olny work properly, but also improves arm model of holder.

Though, not many issues had been found. Also, all of them were hands of human characters (optionally former), like Bernie or Tim's Willits sister, remaining the same due to the fully custom models. Thus, I hardly can name them demerits or miscalculation, but they, as already is mentioned, are the only ones I had revealed.

Well, i figured out the reason of absent decals. The Doomconfig, generated on start was such one and replacing it with another, slightly edited and taken from other mod, fixed the problem.
I, actually, don't know, what exactly could be broke, that's why have uploaded both files.

I had troubles running it simultaneously with redux, while redux alone had screens working properly.
Furthermore, same issue was encountered in alphalabs4, central processing and, i suppose, anywhere cameras or complex interactive surfaces are placed.

I heard some people, that had same trouble, blaming sikkmod, included in redux, but, as it's already mentioned, redux alone works without errors.
And, at the end, i found another two funny issues, that you might be wishing to know about.

I seem to have an issue with decals, that don't appear on level architecture - no gunshot holes or blood splatters.
Also, i suppose, some NPC should have more hi-poly models, because selfshadowing causes polypop artifacts.
Otherwise mod looks and works flawlessly, can't wait till the next release.

May be it's a matter of taste, but i'd like Quake I/II most of all. These architecture, soundtrack, setting ... everything upon old Dooms. Single exception from Doom's inferiority is soundtrack by Aubrey Hodges, which is better, than Sonic Mayhem's for Quake II.
