Hi, we made all our cutscenes in the Unity editor using the animation panel. Just put all the objects you want to animate as children of an empty object, and give it an animation component. Then use the animation editor to animate them however you like! There are plenty of tutorials on the internet about how to use the editor for this.

As for the menu, the simple answer is just with scripting. Again, loads of tutorials for this online, but the basics for a simple 2D menu are using the OnGUI() function, and the GUIButton(), GUILabel() etc methods to create your menu.

I can't really teach you in detail how to make them, but here are some links that might help:

The project isn't dead, I promise! We've just started working on it again, we should be updating the page again in a few weeks. :)

Well, there's nothing to download yet! In terms of content, the final game will likely contain cartoony but fairly graphic violence and language. Drugs are unlikely to feature, but the project's far too early to really tell at this point!

Hey, glad you like the look of it! Unfortunately I was finding it a bit unmanageable, I made the decision to rewrite the game's (very messy) engine from scratch and then really lost motivation after that. It's a project I want to come back to at some point though, eventually :) At the moment I'm working on something new in UDK which is coming along better. I'll be putting that up on here soon.

Hey good luck with this! It's a shame to be moving away from DBP, I did recently as well (but to UDK instead). Out of interest, will the indieGogo money be going towards a Unity Pro licence?
