so... is this dead?

hello, i am new to this mod.
and i cant seem to get it working...
i have not done anything with mount and blade files for a while, so i had no idea
of what i was doing.

but in the end i figured that.
making a file in modules copy pasting the native game in there and then extracting would be the best option...
but in the end that doesnt work at all, when i try to boot the mod it goes though the loading process. however ends with an error:
unable to find face mesh: undead_head_new

or something along those lines, so i am wondering if i am perhaps missing something...? or am i doing things wrong?

well i asked around and from what i heard that feature was removed altogether and you just start out as a lich.

hello, i have been very excited to try out this mod since forever but i only now got to buy the game, so i am playing necromancer and there is suposed to be this option to turn lich. but i dont have it...i have started out as a necromancer and my skill in necromancy should be 7 i am starting another character to see if i missed something but, otherwise i have no idea pls help?
