i second this. i was just thinking about this not long ago. i took a look at the chao gardens in the adventure games and noticed how complicated the system really is... which is also the reason it could be very difficult to make in a fan game.

in unleashed wii the boost still hurt enemies. but personally just for fun i always found myself using the homing attack

The reason for this is that 2d areas make for easy game controls. the engine is very fast and can be hard to control in a 3d perspective. if you've played the original UT2004 mod, you will find that ADR is much different now.

the programming behind the animations aren't entirely finished. so they will be fixed eventually

you would be surprised how much work it is to convert a UT3 mod to UDK even tho they are the same engine, the way UDK works requires pretty much months of work to transfer over.

So when are you hoping to have the game finished? :) and are you going to release any demos before completion? im asking for selfish reasons i just want to get my hands on this. its by far the best sonic fan game out there.

i sure hope so. i usually cant seem to run any unreal engine 3 games without a bad lag. its all those trees that do it :P im running an intel core duo 2.4 ghz with an nvidia gforce graphics card.

at first it looks like a modded version of the blitz sonic engine, which im still pretty sure it is. but i will say that the level modeling is beautiful :D

there is a free download of the ps3 framework so you can get around that. as far as the license i cant help you there :P

since this is udk, couldnt you port this game to xbox 360 and ps3?
