Sounds almost like you may be a person who'd been banned from the game for abusing a system intended to assist newer teams.

The 'losing on purpose' is more a factor of using your bench players, in order to help develop them in the RPG fashion. And, if they are losing on purpose, that would actually help lower level teams, both in gaining experience, and leveling up.
