I'm starting the download now... but my internet is being really slow so it'll be a while before I can actually play...

Is this mod popular at all? (Is there multiple servers where I can play with people) or should I be looking forward to more of a single player/LAN experience?

Good question.

The developers haven't posted any news or updates in quite a while (kind of a disappointment) but that's not too much to worry about.

Since the game is on STEAM now, it's become a little more popular and attracted a bit of the 'modder community', so even though the developers aren't posting anything new any more, new maps and such are coming out created by players all of the time.

It might not be top-notch like real developers could make... But you'll still get the new maps and modes you're looking for.

I used Desura to get two mods... and it took me two times as long to get them, and had missing content both times.

My recommendation is to remove it and get the file to install it straight to STEAM's sourcemods folder. - It'll be in your main steam menu, too... So easier to find and you'll have all the models.

By the way - if you search for Zombie Panic on the STEAM store, you can download it straight from there. - Whenever it gets updated it'll work like a steam game and update for you, too.

Needs more players, but the mod is fantastic!

Great job on the new promotional video, by the way... - The music and emphasis on the cannon fire made it seem so much more action-packed and "Luring" :) I had to watch the whole thing.

Sadly, no... Mods only work if you have all of the game's content on your steam... If you have any source game (HL2, CS:S, L4D, and so on)you will be able to download mods to your "Sourcemods" folder on STEAM and play them. If you just have the demo, I think it will give you an error if you attempt to launch a mod.

It looks extremely promising, and I'd like to give it a try as well. (And if I wasn't so rusty, I'd offer to help with the mapping) because it seems very, very far from done.

However, I'll keep updated on the page and see how you come in the next few weeks! It looks like it could be a hit if it is pulled off correctly (are you going to be working on it after the school project is over so the community can try it, or are you just doing it for a project and going to be done with it?)
