Description
I have spent the past few days editing textures to complete our Chinese Nationalist Army. I think it turned out damn well and authentic as it can be! Really excited for this faction and theater to be in the game making us have a pretty unique WW2 game! I also plan on possibly having the Communist forces as well as we have all content needed for them as well. We will see what the future brings!
Stay tuned here, progress is really picking up and I hope to have a video sometime hopefully sooner than later!
Nice. Will you have both the National Revolutionary Army and the Chinese Expeditionary Force (Burma) or just the NRA?
Well I went with the 88th Division for now, hence the green colors, but it depends. I wanted to also have the blue uniforms in the mix too. I picked these because they were much easier to create.

These are based on the FH2 CMP Japanese character models(We use with permission), but we had to switch out the FH2 hands(We don't have permission to use their hand models) with our own so as to respect FH2 content. But each of the 4 created characters I made have all totally different faces from the Japanese, and look more ethnic Chinese so not just a reskinned Japanese character.
I got SUPER lucky here that the Battlegroup Frontlines German kits lined up with the Japanese models that had originally been exported for FH2. The Germans actually supplied the Nationalist forces with a lot of equipment before they became allied with Japan. But as per usual for the Chinese forces of the time the weapons and equipment is a mishmash of weapons and vehicles from all over the world.

Yes you are both right, as far as westerners are concerned it is called Kuomintang, at least through English speaking countries that I know of and have researched.

"The Kuomintang (KMT, pinyin romanization: Guomindang), often referred to in English as the Nationalist Party or Chinese Nationalist Party (CNP), is a major political party in Taiwan, i.e. the Republic of China, based in Taipei. Formed in 1919, the KMT was the sole ruling party of the Republic of China from 1928 to 2000 and is currently an opposition political party in the Legislative Yuan."
So yes, both are actually right. It says Romanization is "Guomindang", but when I try and right click to check spelling of it in Firefox, it says "Kuomintang".
I actually prefer the Western spelling.

Very nice, did you find someone can retexture the hands ? They look so "plastic" :)
All of the hands look like this lol. They use the US hands from PR/EOD. I am not a texture artist so I can't make textures from scratch, only edit existing ones some. I wanted better textures on the hands that look more realistic but I don't know anybody who can do this.
