I'm Ali Jr, I've been a fan of Doom since 5th grade, and for the longest time, I wanted to make games.
Unfortunately since I've had trouble with that, I started making mods for doom. The experience has been delightful and painful, and I am working hard on my sub-mod for brutal doom, Ali's Brutal Doom (Ali's Challenger).
So far Ali's Brutal Doom has improved in many ways since the last public build (0.7). I still have a lot left to do such as adding features and fixing glitches. Here is what I have done thus far:
--Improved shotgun, SMG, pistol, and rifle sprites
--created many new performance options that are more detailed than vanilla BD's "Disable advanced decorations"
--shrunk many particle sprites and reduced excessive particles; performance has improved on highest settings
--added tertiary fire to the rocket launcher (launches very powerful grenades)
--motion blur added to a few of the sprites
--new weapon class system
--option to disable harsh zombie AI
--option to disable gunshot screen flashes
--Pinky demons have new AI (they can dodge)
--No need for the Pk3 and wad (BASE and _GRAPHICS) its been condensed into one file (Ali's Brutal Doom.pk3)
