Really fun demo... reminded me a lot of the good old days playing Fallout 1 and 2. It's cool to explore the map, search for food and water and to meet strange characters. I also like the alien premise. Cannot wait to see more of it. Keep it up!!!

Thanks for your comment and I'm happy you liked it. I will definitely work on the puzzles and have them branching out throughout the game to make the game experience not feel as linear. ;)

It used the VGA palette 256 colors. That maybe sounds a lot but if you are working with transparency and color gradients 256 color ain't that many. ;)

Much more fun to design like that than having to work with a restricted color palette. Also there will be a lot more world and character animation.

Absolutely... right now I am writing out the whole story, puzzles and dialogues. I am thinking about doing a small Kickstarter campaign next year just to finance the voice-overs. The rest of it I can do more or less by myself but I don't want to screw things up by having crappy voices in the game.

In the image section I have posted a Before/After screenshot that more or less shows where the graphic are going.

Believe it or not... You Shall!!! :) That your home town is called Wakefield and that the name of your half sister is Maya freaked me out a little though. I am not some kind of stalker or anything. hehehe

I was going to thank you and some others in my entry's credits but I just didn't have the time. I finished the game about 20 minutes before the deadline was up.

So let me thank you now for all your help and more than likely future help. I couldn't have done it without your scripting and tutorials!!! Thank you Lee!!!
