I have to make it again.. Haven't found a way to improve the model after making the global shape..

I'll have to go full on details, right at the beggining..

'Kay, i informed myself on some tools and should be able to finish the head (a new one) soon. The current problem is that peoples can't take good photos and i can't really count on them as perfect refs... Difficulty +1..

I chose a motorcycle because it is a good training. It's maybe even too much. But i think if i can modelise this kind of things, i'll be ready for zeq2. :)

Thanks for your support btw. ^^

hmmmm..

3ds max is hard to use.. if you learned the techniques of the 3ds max, you could do high level things.

Blender is easy to use from the start, simple, but it's hard to export it on md3.

good luck

Thanks for the support. ^^

I have chosen 3dsmax instead of blender because both zeq2 and gpbikes require it. On zeq2's side, most of the models are in .max in the svn.

Yet, the only problem i have is editing an object. From spline to model, the vertices menu change, or even the fact that the program can't convert 2 splines to a poly...

After.. I'll have to find a md3 import/export for the 2013 version. :\

yes zeq2 use 3ds, but they did not found the techniques of the animations in 3ds. it would end up like "toy" animating sometimes.

Really ? Never heard of that.. At least, bip files still works. To create anims i'll use blender, shouldn't be hard since it's a repetitive task.

That would be great if zeq2's animation system/code was updated..

WOOOOKAY! I found what was wrong. I tried to modify the back of the polygon without seeing it... Now the functions work it'll be easier to finish it. xD

I was modeling in triangles before someone told me it was useless, so i'm making the glass again in rectangles. Screenshot soon. ;)
