it's a projectile fired from a rail gun: a gun that use magnetic rails to fire projectiles at supersonic speed. and what's revolutionary abut this is well:
1. it's a 90mm projectile fired from a rail gun and can equal or can have higher damage than an armor piercing 120mm since it flies at 3500 meters per second.

2. it's just a 90mm round (and it can cause that much havoc?!).

3. it uses kinetic energy to make damage.

and those my friend are FACTS. and if you still ain't convinced:

English please, helps us to understand you.

Anyway, the reason for the gigantic firestorm behind the projectile is a result of huge amounts of kinetic energy being transferred to the air and into heat. The energy is so extremely high that the temperature rises high enough to generate flames.

P.S.: Plasma... s...

Description

this projectile you see here is fired from an experimental rail gun. that flame at the back is a plume of plasma.
