Set categories on my games list (Play tab) Thread - Desura

Would appreaciate if it would be possible to define categories on my games list (Play tab). For example, create a category for games I already beaten, or even to organize my list by genre.

It was already requested a few times. Implementing that may take quite a long time since the main Desura programmer rarely works, and only on critical bugs, not new features. But this is perhaps something that Desurium team (Desurium is the open-source version of Desura) could look into.

This desperately needs to be implemented. When one has many games, including some that are duplicated from other distributors like Steam thanks to the Indie Royale bundles, it can become an unmanageably large list. It baffles me that this client has gotten so few feature updates, as it is your primary gateway to keep existing customers happy and to create features that encourge return and additional purchase. I actively try to avoid using Desura because of little issues like this, and it is why, given the option, I will always choose to buy from Steam even if the price is slightly higher. It should not be easier to download installers from the website and then use the Steam client to manage my Desura games than it is to use the Desura client. This isn't a new or isolated complaint, either - it has popped up all the time for ages on lots of websites ranging from Reddit to various gaming sites.
